Bombyx mandarina nucleopolyhedrovirus (BomaNPV) S1 is the pathogen of wild silkworm nuclear polyhedrosis. BomaNPV S1 is much less virulent than BmNPV T3 strain. Most of the putative proteins of BomaNPV S1 are more than 96% identical to homologs in the BmNPV T3 strain (Xu et al., 2010). The genome data of BomaNPV S1 was obtained from GenBank.
